During Labor Day weekend, End O Line Park will be open one extra day on Sunday, September 6. The hours of operations are 10am-5pm. This time period is when all opened park buildings and public restrooms will be available. As we are a county park, visitors are welcome to visit the park grounds during all day light hours, seven days a week. A change from years past is that we will be closed on Labor Day Monday.
The park will be open certain days/hours after Labor Day as well. Those details will be released on our website and our Facebook page (facebook.com/endolinemuseum) in the coming days. Contact the park if you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment after Labor Day.
According to state mandate, we require visitors to bring and wear a mask at while indoors on park property. Bandanna face-masks are available for purchase at $1.25 for those who don’t have one. We ask any visitor not feeling well (even with non-COVID symptoms) to please stay home. Hand-sanitizer and hand-washing is available in several areas throughout the park. The public restrooms are open during hours of operations and are cleaned frequently. The gift shop in the visitors’ center is open with a wide variety of products on sale. Curbside pick up or shipping of products from our gift shop are available upon request.
Due to staff shortages and to prevent community spread, there will be no guided park tours; only self-guided tours. One-time use guide books are available by free-will donation at the visitors’ center. Certain park buildings are closed as they have smaller spaces that do not allow for proper social distancing. The buildings that are closed include the: Section Foreman’s House, Currie General Store, Grist Mill, Hilfer’s Depot, and the Minneapolis & St. Louis Caboose. All closed buildings will have extra outdoor signage interpreting the history of the building and pictures of the inside. All open buildings and other high touch surfaces throughout the park will be cleaned daily. Due to lack of staff members, the Historic Manual Turntable will not be spun this summer.
For any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the park at 507-763-3708 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Check in with our website or Facebook page at facebook.com/endolinemuseum for any future updates.
